Specifically, we created the new platform that includes a database of approximately 35,000 articles and manages an active community of up to 250 simultaneous users. We created an infrastructure that surpasses the physical limits of MySQL by optimizing it on the software side and by taking advantage of the server cluster equipped with Varnish and CDN frontal cache. This optimization makes it possible to manage a very large DB while users navigate and writing and editing activities occur.
We also standardized irregular data and URLs that arose from uniting different DB/frameworks (Drupal/WordPress) and updated the article archives. Following these operations, we proceeded to cleaning the SERP on Google and to creating a dynamic matrix of 301 redirect pages to standardize and maintain the existing positions.
